It has been a full week at FFCOG! It has left me both excited and exhausted. After the weekend conference concluded, I shared with Mitchell Burch that his 4 sessions with us were exactly what we needed. I described it as a spiritual “kick in the pants” for us. If you were in attendance, then I’m sure you understand. Mitch challenged us to take an honest look at the barriers that exist between who we are and where we believe Christ is calling us to go. He was blunt, and honest about what must take place in our hearts and ministry if we are to move to the next level. God used him to challenge us, and inspire us to pursue greater things. We’ve got work to do. Let’s get after it!
As I sit here thinking about the coming week, I am awaiting another major snow storm, so a lot may change in the next 24 hours. Nonetheless, here is the plan for the next week. I hope you will join in!
Tuesday, February 16th @ 6:30 PM – Our Vision Team will hold our 2nd meeting. We are prayerfully working towards a Vision Path that will communicate to the entire church where we believe God is taking us. Pray and fast for this meeting. It is big!
Wednesday, February 17th @ 7:00 PM – Wednesday is Discipleship Night. The kids have a great time worshiping and learning in our fellowship hall, while the adults do the same in the sanctuary. We are praying about different class opportunities and topics to offer in the Spring. Stay tuned!
Sunday, February 21th @ 10:30 AM – Can anyone else believe it is almost March! This Sunday we will continue our series titled “7″ that covers Revelation 2 & 3. Come worship with us!
Sunday, February 21th @ 6:00 PM – If you like Southern Gospel music, then this is your night! The Sons of Liberty will be with us in concert. It should be a fun night.
Remember to check WCPO (ABC) Television or our church website for cancellation info. It looks like this storm is for real. Have a fantastic week!
